BANGKOK, THAILAND, May 21, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Rising Star Dance Studio in Bangkok will present its own ballet adaptation of the classic fairytale Cinderella next month.

It will be performed on June 4th and 5th, with Yuko Nakamura and Chitpon Pleansiri taking on the roles of Cinderella and the prince, both of which have trained in top international academies.

Most people will know the story of the young girl cruelly treated by her two evil stepsisters, yet still makes it to the ball thanks to her fairy godmother.

But this telling of the fairytale will offer a fresh take, as one of the venue's own creatives has put together a new version.

In a statement, the organisers explained: "Rising Star's director, Fay Pansringarm, has choreographed her own rendition of the ballet incorporating a delightful array of dancing mice, pumpkins, horses and fairies."

The show begins at 14:30 local time on both days and lasts about 115 minutes including a 20-minute interval. Tickets cost 650 baht (GBP13.30).

It will be performed at the M Theater on New Petchburi Road.
