The Bournemouth International Centre will host Derren Brown's latest stage show Svengali in June.

BOURNEMOUTH, ENGLAND, April 22, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Derren Brown's latest tour of the UK is due to stop off in Bournemouth for two nights this summer.

The famous illusionist and conjuror will bring his Svengali show to the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) on Friday June 3rd and Saturday June 4th.

Known as a master of magic and mind control, the London-born performer usually provokes controversy and acclaim in equal measure whenever he unveils a new live act or TV special.

Since emerging in 2000, he has penned several bestselling books and stunned audiences with his mental abilities.

Svengali is his fifth tour and is expected to be just as popular as Enigma, the 40-year-old's last jaunt around the country.

Brown has kept details of his latest show close to his chest so far, although he has promised fans on the south coast "a full evening of mind-melting based around audience participation".

He said in a statement: "It's great fun - thinking up things to freak people out. What could be more enjoyable?"
