Til Turner Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Til Turner wrote a teachers handbook to assist in the issues that ESL students experience while writing

STRASBURG, VA, September 3, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Til Turner, Instructor for Northern Virginia Community College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

Mr. Turner is a designer, writer and artist living in the Shenandoah Valley. He currently is the resident stage designer for Wayside Theatre and freelances as a decorative artist. He has been involved in professional theatre for over 15 years, working for such theatres as Wooly Mammoth, Studio Theatre and Theatre of the First Amendment in the Washington, D.C. metro area. He owns Nornseer Studios, LLC, which produces an eclectic range of arts and crafts items, from professional models to paintings in oil and acrylic. In addition, he teaches English at Northern Virginia Community College and writes poetry and fiction. He is available in person or online for English language instruction for private clients or businesses, and he works to develop specialty courses and create new procedures for teachers. He also manages the yoga and pilates studio where his wife is an instructor.

Mr. Turner received his Master of Applied Linguistics in 1997 and his Bachelor of Fine Arts, both from George Mason University, with distinction. Certified in English as a Second Language, he completed coursework in arts at Corcoran School of Art in Washington D.C. and at The Art League in Alexandria, Virginia. He is a member of the Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages, Inc. and the Golden Key International Honor Society. In the future, he intends to pursue his Ph.D.
