Suzanne Dee Gorman Achieves Early Success with Pop-Country Music Album "Open Book"
Suzanne Dee Gorman, singer, songwriter and publisher, honored by Cambridge Who's Who

WAYNE, PA, May 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Suzanne Dee Gorman, Singer, Songwriter and Publisher of Three Ponds Publishing, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in entertainment services.

"Suzanne Gorman is an up-and-coming pop-country artist with a talent for songwriting. On her impressive debut album, she makes it clear that a broad background, a history of battling down challenges, and a commitment to sharing her gift with the world can only enhance a talent that's already unique." - Limelight Magazine

In September of 2006, Suzanne Dee Gorman released her debut album, "Open Book," in business with Range Records. Described as pop-flavored and spirited, with vocals comparable to those of Nanci Griffith and Nichole Nordeman, "Open Book" has generated a positive response among music critics and country fans, alike. Her song, "Heartbreaker," advanced to the eighth spot on FMBQ's adult contemporary radio chart with nearly 1,000 plays and Gorman achieved early recognition in such magazines as Times Record, nationwide.

Prior to dropping "Open Book," which was recorded at Reba McEntire's Starstruck Studios in Nashville, Tennessee, Gorman wrote and published music with such talents as Nancy Peacock, Amy Holt, Jo Linder, Andi Zack, Kim Barker and Lisa Palas, whose songs have been performed and recorded by major pop and country artists in including Reba McEntire. Gorman also performed live in Nashville (as well as around the country) and considers one of her most exciting accomplishments to be having opened for James Taylor at his Palm Springs concert. "When I share my music, I always feel like I'm at the right place at the right time," Gorman noted in a recent interview. "I love people and I want to give back in equal measure what I have received."

In addition to performing, Suzanne is currently compiling a catalog of her music to be published through her company, Three Ponds Publishing. As president of Three Ponds, Suzanne will seek to expand the company as she moves forward, as well as continue to write and perform her music. Gorman is a member of The Grammy Organization and the National Association of Record Industry Professionals. She holds an associate degree from Colby-Sawyer College.
