Jeffrey B. Small has earned the recognition of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his brilliant work in the Entertainment Industry.


ELGIN, IL, February 13, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Jeffrey B. Small has earned the recognition of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his brilliant work in the Entertainment Industry. As President of Elgin Theatre Company for the past 20 years he has routinely demonstrated the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be among the best.

Elgin Theatre Company is a nonprofit organization which has been providing their patrons with a vibrant and active community theatre group for over 57 years. The goal of the Elgin Theatre Company is to provide quality entertainment and education to all residents of Elgin, and beyond. It is also a place for those wishing to explore and exercise their talents in a friendly, open, and warm atmosphere.

The organization was founded in 1952 as the Elgin Community Theatre, an evening adult education class at Elgin Community College. Now for over 50 seasons, ETC has continuously produced high quality entertainment for Elgin Illinois and the northwest suburbs of Chicago. The group's artistic direction has emphasized a mixture of popular musicals, comedies, dramas, and mysteries and has attracted actors, singers, dancers, carpenters and a host of others. Among the many performances that have been hosted by Elgin Theatre Company over their years are Bus Stop, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Cane Mutiny Court Martial, South Pacific, Draculaand The Last of the Red Hot Lovers.

Jeffrey is an expert set designer. He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and the C.T.A. Small is always keeping up with the arts and is regular reader of American Theatre.
