Dorothy Medico has been named as an Executive of the Year by Stanford Who's Who as a result of her phenomenal professional career.

In her position as Director of Dorothy's School of Dance, Dorothy has routinely performed at an extraordinary level while displaying the leadership and professionalism required to be considered among the elite.

Dorothy has ascended to the pinnacle of her profession as a result of her determination as well as the demonstration of her exceptional work ethic, combined with her extensive knowledge and magnificent management skills. Dorothy's School of Dance is one of the most reputable and experienced dance centers on the south shore of Long Island. Their professional, highly qualified staff provides quality dance education in an extremely friendly and nurturing environment.

Dorothy has been dedicated to running the organization for over 30 years. During her educational career, she attended Nassau Community College. Dorothy is a Certified Dance Instructor. She is a member of the Dance Educators of America, Professional Dance Teachers Association and the Bellmore Chamber of Commerce. Dorothy was the recipient of the 2007 Town Of Hempstead Pathfinder Award for "Arts and Entertainment" in honor of Women's History Month. She was also the 2000 Nassau Chamber Of Commerce Council recipient of Bellmore's Small Business Person of the Year.
