Sculptor Linda C. Holtzclaw Recognized for Accomplishments in Fine Art
Cambridge Who's Who honors Linda C. Holtzclaw as Professional of the Year in Fine Art
ORLANDO, FL, December 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Linda C. Holtzclaw, Sculptor for Linda Holtzclaw Designs, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Fine Art. While inclusion in Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named the Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee chooses these special honorees based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, and leadership abilities.
Linda C. Holtzclaw is a nationally acclaimed artist and lecturer possessing nearly three decades of experience in fine art. Specializing in bronze sculpting and glass art, Ms. Holtzclaw has been featured in The Menu Magazine, Florida Designers Quarterly and Decor. Her work has graced the halls of Crabtree & Evelyn of London in Winter Park, Florida, Saint Luke's United Methodist Church, Maison et Jardin Restaurant, Godiva Candy Shop and the Magic of Glass exhibition at the Orlando Science Center. Now celebrating 16 years with Linda Holtzclaw Designs, spoke with Cambridge Publishing about her career as an artist.
Hard work and perseverance - these are two qualities that any individual must possess to succeed in the field of professional art, she noted. And Ms. Holtzlaw has demonstrated that she has what it takes to transform her passion into a business. Since starting as a bronze sculptor in 2006, she has worked with internationally known architects. In 2008, two of her pieces were accepted into the "Nude Nite" exhibition in Florida. She has also lectured at such venues as the Morse Museum, home of the Tiffany glass collection, and at the Cornell Fine Arts Museum. She has also collaborated with the late Hugh McCain for an international show and had some of her glass work featured at the Orlando Museum of Art.
