Plenary Hall in Kuala Lumpur will host a comedy night featuring some of Asia's leading funnymen.

However, that could be set to change when the Kings and Queen of Comedy Asia tour comes to the Malaysian capital on October 23rd 2010, with the show set to take place at the Plenary Hall venue.

The organisers have claimed the production is the first of its kind and features five of the best funnymen from across Asia, performing two-and-a-half hours of back-to-back comedy.

People who are eager to head out from their Kuala Lumpur hotels and enjoy a night of belly laughs will be kept entertained by comedy kings Harith Iskander from Malaysia, Hung Le from Vietnam, Douglas Lim from Malaysia and Vir Das from India.

However, the act who could well steal the show is Kumar, a Singaporean drag act of Indian descent who has been described by the organisers as irreverent, funny and incisive.

A range of ticketing options are available to tourists and business travellers who are keen to check out the spectacle, with admission costing between 88 and 298 Malaysian ringgits (GBP18 and GBP61).

The night's entertainment is set to kick off at 20:00 local time.
