AsiaRooms.com - Hong Kong Gears Up for its International Arts Carnival
Hong Kong will kick off its celebrations for the International Arts Carnival in July.
HONG KONG, HK, May 28, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- People who have booked Hong Kong hotels during July and August will have the opportunity to attend some of the events that make up the International Arts Carnival.
Running from July 9th until August 15th, there will be plenty of shows, exhibitions and activities to keep visitors occupied.
The opening programme features a production of Peter Pan by the Northern Ballet Theatre from the UK.
Children and adults alike will no doubt enjoy this adaptation of the JM Barrie classic, which boasts both an award-winning director and composer in the team.
The high-flying performance will be taking to the stage at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Grand Theatre.
Special shows from around the globe designed to keep the little ones entertained are also part of the programme. Spanish offering Ping and a production entitled Good Night Moon and the Runaway Bunny from a Canadian theatre company will feature at the opening of the event.
Local thespians and musicians will also be given a place in the spotlight, with different acts from the city being showcased under the Hong Kong - An Infinite City series of shows.
