Jennie DeVoe Big Red Barn Concert: Going Organic at Traders Point Creamery
Indiana-based singer/songwriter brings her live show to Traders Point Creamery on Saturday, May 15th. DeVoe is touring behind her critically-acclaimed fourth cd, 'Strange Sunshine,' distributed by Sony Red.

ZIONSVILLE, IN, April 20, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jennie DeVoe is going to the cows! On Saturday, May 15th, Traders Point Creamery in Zionsville presents an intimate concert event with Jennie DeVoe, live in their Big Red Barn. Traders Point Creamery is a family owned, award-winning artisan dairy farm, Certified Organic by the USDA. The farm also features a popular Restaurant and Dairy Bar, weekly Farmer's Market, and family-friendly tours of the farm. They also feature music in the Big Red Barn most Friday and Saturday evenings, and, after one look at the farm's Brown Swiss cows, animal-lover DeVoe was in!

One of the most successful independent artists to emerge from Indiana, Jennie DeVoe's music career has continued to blossom, gaining her national and international attention. Most recently, she signed a major deal with Sony Red Distribution for her fourth cd, Strange Sunshine. DeVoe has spent the last year touring behind the new disc, which continues to gain critical acclaim and airplay across the country.  Critics rave, "The star of this show is DeVoe's vocal instrument. It's not just her range and power that impresses. DeVoe sings with an honesty that makes the listener believe she is baring her soul on every track. Her songwriting captures the wittiness, world weariness, hope and simple brilliance that is blues music at its best." Such national praise inspires DeVoe to keep expanding her audience, an effort aided tremendously with Sony Red's support. Strange Sunshine can now be found in independent record stores and on airwaves all over the United States, and even the Virgin Islands. Back home in Indiana, DeVoe has garnered numerous "Best Female Artist," and "Favorite Local Musician" honors, gracing the covers of a variety of publications across the state.

On May 15th, DeVoe and band will bring their energetic, soul-infused live show of original music to Traders Point Creamery for a very special concert event. Whether you've never seen Jennie DeVoe live, or if you've seen her many times, the evening in the Big Red Barn will be one to remember. As one reviewer noted at Eddie's Attic in Decatur, Ga, "This larger than life, dynamite in small package performer will win you over quickly as she has with so many. If Jennie DeVoe is playing close by or far away, it's worth the trip to see her and witness greatness."
