ManGlaze(TM) Matte Nail Polish Debuts to Japanese Punks
Unique Brand to Launch at World's Strongest Punk Music Festival
/Performing Arts News Articles/ - TOKYO, JAPAN, May 30, 2007 — ManGlaze(TM), an "indie" brand of matte finish nail colour, announced today that it will debut June 2, 2007 in Yokohama, Japan at Magma—"The World's Strongest Hard Core Punk Festival!!!"
ManGlaze(TM) is currently available in either matte grey or matte black. The product has been designed to appeal to both women and men in search of a less girlie nail manicure option. A less-polished-polish, meant for extended wear. When ManGlaze(TM) first goes on, the look is sophisticated though somewhat defiant. It is intended to be worn longer — to achieve an authentic "punk-rotten" look.
The company has taken a very different approach to its packaging. "I'm thrilled that we were able to get punk rock artist Joe Simko to design the first ManGlaze(TM) bottle label," said Kyoko Osawa, company spokesperson. "We will be following up with packaging inspired or created by other artists, musicians and celebrities," Osawa said.
